Sunday night elbow macaroni gratin

INGREDIENTS

250g Lustucru elbow macaroni

300g sausage meat

200g cherry tomatoes

1 small individual bottle of tomato juice

2 large onions
-
4 cloves garlic

1 tablespoon whole sugar

1 glass dry white wine

200g grated Emmental cheese

Salt and freshly ground pepper

Half a bunch of flat-leaf parsley

Olive oil
PREPARATION

Finely chop your onions.

Mince the garlic and parsley, or you can use a ready-made frozen herb and garlic mix.

Sauté your onions in a pan with 4 tablespoons of olive oil.

Add the crumbled sausage meat, cherry tomatoes, sugar, tomato juice, garlic and parsley, and white wine.

Season with salt and pepper.

Allow to confit and reduce over a fairly high heat for about 20 minutes.

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

While the filling is cooking, cook the small pasta shells according to package directions, then drain.

Mix the pasta with the sauce, sprinkle with grated Emmental cheese, and bake for about 10 minutes.
